Edmonton’s emo darlings Hersilia write songs with the
raucous energy of a can of Lucky Lager at the dingiest house show,
featuring lyrics with the tender insight of a lonely single-malt nightcap
when the party is over. Their LP Rot & Rebirth refines the sound they started
developing with their 2018 EP Concrete Flora, and sands down the rough
edges of that EP while preserving it’s earnest charm.
