Wounds of Recollection is the first and longest-running project of the anonymous one-man black metal artist known only as Annos. In contrast of the darker atmosphere of Annos’ other projects, Wounds of Recollection weaves uplifting atmospheric black metal and crushing post-metal in between somber moments of folk, post-rock, and emo to create a sound inspired by a deep sense of nostalgia.
