Kingston-born rapper Rare brings his grungy hip-hop sound to the next level with the 13 new tracks featured in his REDUX mixtape. From start to finish this tape is meant to impact both the local and national rap scene.

This is Rare’s 6th mixtape and it follows up the successful Peace, RaRE&Co. Vol. 1, RaRE 2016, and 6 South & 6UP projects. Rare isn’t afraid to work hard and he has established himself as one of Canada’s top emerging urban artists. He’s had the privilege of opening for some notable names such as Obie Trice, Crooked Eye, Madchild, Doom Squad, Token, Dillon Ponders Hopsin and Jarren Benton. This hard work coupled with the release of Redux promises to make this an exciting time for Rare and his music.

Redux is a gritty mixtape loaded with emotion and creativity. Rare went back to his roots when creating each track and as such all 12 tracks bring there own story to the listener’s ears, laced with the sounds of Rare’s roots; punk golden-era hip-hop.
