Sonic Semiotics by Adam Johan Bergren

This album is a concept that contains elements of discourse and conversations between various characters. From carefree to tense and pensive, there are plenty of signs and meanings to emerge from the melodic elements weaving around a synth-driven soundscape of psychedelic and cinematic splendour.

The Sonic character of Semiotics (which is the study of how meaning is communicated) is conveyed here through melodic back-and-fourth as well as through spatial movement and plenty of width and depth. This instrumental album packs a quick pace, with 10 tracks in 37 minutes, this was a fun and indulgent endeavour.
