Sweetly sinking beneath a distant arrow's line
Blurred border laid across the landscape

Ink trails
Surrounding a vanishing point
Sonorous paths, voices in a harmony
Earth asleep beneath this canopy of timbre
Darkness below even that, soaked deep underground
Creation in the heart of it, like a secret seed
Out of which the whole world has been grown
Murmurs of this dream are buried there
Muted, slumbering behind a firmament of a thousand long nights
Unnamed and ageless
Now summoned, collected, transfigured
Into a perfume that steals away on this breeze
Over the singing hills, up and out and into the clarion sun
Nascent voice of this golden communion

Milieu is a sound artist from Dayton, Ohio. He is well-known for his long-from ambient recordings and sleep-building releases. Under his monikers Milieu, Coppice Halifax, Limestone Ziggurat etc. he has released hundreds of albums and soundtracks for games, films and television.

As a twin of April's Blissed Communion, Communion II is another meditative and generative long-form recording divided into three pieces.

Milieu transmutes the rural and seaside elements of his surroundings
into synaesthetic melody and texture, often producing dense layers of sonic compost and colorful reams of psychedelia.
