The winter is past, and the Ritual has done what was intended - for me, at least.
A huge thank you to all the wonderful collaborators I worked with on this project, it made it particularly special –
“Fragments” was recorded remotely between two points in Glasgow, in collaboration with Somer.
“In the Ruins of No Specific Place” was recorded with Jude Norton-Smith near Queen’s Park in Glasgow; then deconstructed and pieced back together not quite the same, near Kelvingrove Park (early April 2024).
“Mercy IV” was written with the help of Christopher Manning, frequencies broadcast between Glasgow & Tbilisi.
All other tracks written/recorded by Aidan Lochrin in Glasgow, 2024.
