Aïta Mon Amour, the duo formed by Widad Mjama, a pioneer of female rap in Morocco, and Khalil Epi, a key figure in the Arab electronic scene, offers a bold, modern take on Aïta—a rural blues tradition carried by the Chikhates, women singers and guardians of a centuries-old practice. Blending electronic music and tradition, this project takes us on a mesmerizing journey through Moroccan culture.
