Final Stroke

One last look, one final stare,
At the painted horror, beyond compare.
A lifetime’s sins, a face grown old,
Yet I remain, unscarred and bold.

With trembling hands, I raise the blade,
To end the curse that I betrayed.
In one swift stroke, I’ll set it right,
I’ll face the darkness, end the night.

One last stroke, to break the spell,
To free my soul from beauty’s hell.
In shattered glass, I find my fate,
One final stroke, it’s not too late.

But as the blade strikes painted skin,
A twisted fate, as life grows thin.
The years return, the face decays,
In death’s embrace, my beauty sways.

For every lie, for every sin,
The portrait takes what’s held within.
In final breath, the truth revealed,
The price of beauty, forever sealed.

One last stroke, the mirror breaks,
The sins of youth, a soul forsakes.
In silent screams, my life’s design,
One final stroke, this end is mine.

In shadows deep, I fade away...
