I’m in the old part of the city where all the trees are upside down
It’s kind of scary yet it’s pretty especially when you’re lying down
I had leave you just to be me
Well now I know how much I lose
We used to see in giant colors
Now we’re fading shades of hues

And when we lived out in the country, I swear I saw you lose yourself
All the trees and bees were singing but all we heard was what you felt
I learned to be and simply listening
