“Sunflower” is the fifth movement of Wavelength 580, where the melody wanders with little certainty. The sunflower is an iconic symbol of the midwest, a place where so many people are uncertain about their futures. Perhaps it can be that uncertainty that drives us forward, or perhaps it will continue to hold us back in a still-repeating melody.
