Loved ones fall victim, to the shadows snare.

Persecution caused, terrible fate,
Carnal abuse, or something worse.
Torture and torment, an endless plight,
Accidents and tragedies, shatter our light.

Fears of others-pain, cause of worry,
No way to save them, no need to hurry.
Inflicted by shadows, in the absence of light,
The pain is caused with powerful might.

Fear of overprotection, making them weak,
Trying to prevent, but taken in a blink.
Murdered on purpose, after the persecution,
Abuse and torture, accident, final resolution.

The shadows lurk, preying on fears,
Whispers of torment, ringing in ears.
Prophecy of doom to our loved ones,
Supplicate for them, for no damage done.

Consumed by anguish, suffering spreads,
The loved ones walk in a thin thread.
Affliction hurts the inside of the soul,
No matter your scream, the tears flow.
