Spell 15 by The Horn

You shall ascend to the sky, you shall traverse the firmament, you shall associate with the stars, who shall make acclamation to you in the Sacred Bark.

This Spell may or may not end up on Volume 26 - only time will tell - but the next Volume released will be the monumental epic Spell 168 AKA Volume 25, so for now, this Spell stands on its own, like some cosmic mutant obelisk.

When people ask me to describe The Horn in terms of genre, I just don't know what to tell them - this Spell alone incorporates Black Metal, Faux-Middle-Eastern Fantasy Folk, Drone Ambient, Outsider Singing, Harsh Noise, Power Electronics, and (thanks to the magnificent inspiration of The Inscrutable Cosmo), for the first time ever, Nile Delta Blues. How do you describe The Horn to people?

Started in 1997 by sole member A DMN SHN, THE HORN is putting the words from all 189 Spells of the Ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead to music. Mostly black metal, sometimes dark ambient, sometimes psychedelic rock, sometimes faux folk, sometimes dungeon synth, sometimes pure noise wall, sometimes deranged audiobook, sometimes none of the above.
