Pelican Stairs by Andrew Firth

Following on from the acclaimed Whitechapel Sound Survey 2022, Andrew Firth returns with a new collection of ambient electronic music mixed with binaural 360 degree sound surround field recordings of locations in and around east London. For this album, the tunnels, streets and riverside of Wapping lend their ambience to the 16 minute long title track. In addition, creaking church pews, water features, the perpetual London traffic and the footsteps of its populace all add to this varied soundscape.

The album comes with an eight page PDF booklet, and a bonus track featuring the binaural sound effects isolated from the music.
