When I purchase a new instrument I want it to work for its living. So usually I incorporate it into a new release of some kind. The Danelectro had to pay its own way. So, I bought this guitar specifically for my 2021 project 1221.

I always struggled with the acoustic 12 string and thought the electric 12, with its thinner neck, would be an easier instrument to play. Largely it is, but you need to have the strength to hold down the strings, tough for chords but it chimes with a beautiful ethereal cadence when you get it right.

12 strings sound unique and amazing but you need to be a pretty special player to pull it off. Maybe one day I will get there.
