I missed a red sun today,
It shone for my homeland, where I was was grey,
I missed a red sun in your sky,
It shone for my loved ones, as if it were there calling me to the fireside,

I prayed for the cold, cause the warm wet my skin,
I prayed that the people here would let me in,
And I gaze at the songbirds, hoping they’ll help me fly,
And I listen to their words, and I follow,
I follow,

Cross legged lady on the rooftop,
Don’t chase the planets cause they’ll never stop,
Don’t chase the bright lights though they’re quicker than sound
Just sit there and listen...

Sit there and listen…

This place does inspire me,
With it’s women so strong,
With it’s bricks built on stories,
And it’s streets lined with songs,
And I did miss a red sun,
And I do miss my home,
But I’m here for the songbirds,
And I’ll follow,
