Lillerne is very excited to bring you another beautiful new tape from Brad Deschamps’ anthéne project (2017’s highly recommended “fade” is also on the label). The proprietor of the Polar Seas Recordings label and easily one of my favorite ambient music makers in the world, Deschamps puts together compositions that feel ever timeless and endlessly moving. “rosewater” again shows his ear for melodic and dynamic patience and care with a stunning collection of tracks made mostly through live instrumentation (guitar, tongue drum, kalimba) and field recordings. Warm, deeply powerful music from one of the best in the game. Edition of 75 professionally duplicated cassettes.
