Willows by Arborescence & Robert Davies
Willows is the second collaboration between musicians Jean Patier and Robert Davies. Building upon their first album, Willows unfolds gracefully through six meticulously detailed compositions. Through a careful fine-tuning of sonic elements and musical tonalities, Jean and Robert's distinctive sound-sculpting methods give way to yet another textured and inspired album.
Symbolised by the willow tree, which grows on the edges where water and earth meet, and with its roots buried deeply underground and its branches tending up towards the airy skies, Willows brings it all together in a singular and immersive musical form.
