Jeff Taylor turns in a nice fiddle performance on this one.
And Scott Lucas is heard on drums for the first time (he also appears on tracks 6, 9 and 11). It could not have been easy for him to add part to the existing guitar tracks.
Because, absent the necessity to play along with a band, I had let my timing "breathe" a little more than one might have done otherwise. He certainly had to contend with some moments where the music sped up or slowed down. But it all fit together in the end. Very nice work!
The same day we recorded the drums for the "Houseplants" songs, he also recorded a few candidates for inclusion on "Golden Treasury". (One of them being "How Very Kind".)
