TOUCHY FEELY from Smooch! by Arch Rockfeller

Though this tweaked-and-remastered version of "Smooch!" features heavy renovations on some of the tracks, this one has not been significantly changed. And offers listeners a chance to hear the drummer from our 1995-96 lineup, Scooter, hard at work.

Though he had only been playing for a few months at the time, he turns in a solid, relaxed performance on this song.

The really impressive thing was that, while he preferred to record on his own without Nikki or I in the room...

He was able to deliver complete takes with no other instruments or guide tracks in his ears.

Just playing along with the click, he could remember every intro, verse, chorus, solo, stop & start etc.

From 1996 on he preferred to concentrate on his career rather than music. But I hope he got back into playing eventually - he had a lot of natural talent.
