Human Interaction by Arcus Magna
Track Commentary:
"Virtue": An opener that is intended to convey the feeling of pure humanity minus all the man-made luxuries.
"Machine": I think this is the first 'real world' opener of basically our daily lives (think of Madonna's Ray of Light video when listening to this).
"Everything Is Moving Faster Now": As the title says, a track I made depicting how time is moving really, really fast to the point where I can't comprehend that we're almost at 2020.
"Interaction": I thought of it as a continuation of Virtue where the listener can imagine being in a state of dreaming about pure interaction.
"Harmful (Interlude)": This interlude doesn't mean that technology is harmful but it COULD be harmful in a way if fallen into the wrong hands (you know, brainwashing and such).
"A Stronger World": The first part of the story where I state that people want a stronger world. The track itself is very loud, full of different sounds, almost wanting to be perfect, but its not.
"Construction": Part 2 that flows right after ASW where the process of constructing this perfect world has begun.
"Equalistria": Part 3 after the construction we now have a clear view of this man-made utopia where people live their best lives along with the perfect morals and ideals. The name is composed of the word Equal and a made-up city name like metropolis of something like that and the whole meaning behind it lies in the intention of creating the perfect world with equal standards of living for all beings, which is impossible.
"Freedom": Part 4 of the story where some residents feel captivated by the perfectionist atmosphere they live in and constantly begging for a way out and into a new challenge because that's what life is about, going through different roads and facing obstacles in order to achieve the goal and embrace the satisfaction.
"A Better World": A reworked version of ASW where its more stripped down? I guess...of all the melodies clashing. Think of it as a simpler version where the world does become better but not forced into being grand and perfect, it still has its flaws.
"This Is Not the End": The final track where the call for humanity is set and it says 'we can still do it, we can be better and embrace our flawed nature'.
