This was a first, What can I say, I saw the worst
Felt like a stray that’s left behind at adoption

Swimming with sharks is not too hard if you’re a shark
But if you're not it leads to utter exhaustion

I had enough of the ride in the shelter from pain

I’ll carve a cup into my heart from the sorrow
