against a closet filled with blue,
street shirts and ocean tides curl up with you,
tangled sleeves in walls say things I wanna say
thought you'd fallen before but now you're dead on your own.

Buried in the ground the two died that morning
summer so close, early for a beach night, waves rushed in,
but who thought if dieing blue birds eggs fall from high trees you're crying.

what a beautiful morning,
the wind fortified your hair, and raised to the sun
and now youre all blue
