Credits
released October 3, 2025
Released for International Space Week 2025, the debut EP of Art Deco Moth is finally touching down! Drawing inspirations from the Space Program of the USSR and Soviet pulp science-fiction, an epic voyage both back in time, as well as into the future punctuated by sounds of Soviet synths & drum machines such as ЭСТРАДИН-230, Аэлита and Роктон.
Each track is mastered on cassettes in varied states of decay for that period-accurate edge, lo-fi crunch and is complete with unique era-appropriate artwork for each, inspired by real posters, magazine covers or postage stamps of the USSR. Art Deco Moth are excited to bring you this lost album from behind the Iron Curtain for the first time.
