ARU meets Black Saturn is a three way long distance collaboration hip-hop beat tape collage Beats from Dubuque Iowa, Vocals from Washington D.C., Guitar from Iowa City, Iowa. While this album was based on beats first, it's the lyrical deep space mission captains log Black Saturn brings that is going to have the listener putting this on repeat ARU has released over forty albums but this is only the third to feature a vocalist. DVP3.5 (2013 Captcha) featured Jorge Tapia and Consumed (2014 self released) featured Kristina Castaneda. Combining productions from Black Saturn, live in the studio beats and guitar jams, and glitched out beat mixes creates a varied headspace to nod to, Black Saturns vocals threading the needle start to finish.
