It is the year 2018 and the pop music industry is still operating with the stereotype of the weak, beautiful woman who sings sweet lovesongs. On the other hand there are all these sexualized marketings mechanisms inside the pop music industry.
With this compilation we look closer at modern female pop music. All the artists have written the lyrics and music by themselves and all these women declined to use the typical stereotypes for marketing their music. Instead they have chosen to pursue their very own way.
Consequently "Discoveries: Authentic" is a varied and modern collection of female pop music from Soul and Americana to Folk Pop with elements of Rock Music.

Auch im Jahr 2018 wird in der Pop-Musik allzuoft mit dem Klischee der hilflosen, hübschen Frau gearbeitet, die mit schmachtenden Lovesongs den Männern gefallen will. Oder mit Frauen, die ihre Musik über eine sexualisierte Vermarktung an den Mann bringen.
Wir stellen euch Musikerinnen vor, die ihren eigenen Weg gehen und eigene Themen in den Mittelpunkt setzen. Alle Musikerinnen haben Texte und Musik selbst geschrieben.
So erwartet Euch in den ca. 60 Minuten Laufzeit eine ausgewogene Mischung aus Soul, Americana und Folk Pop mit einigen rockigen Elementen.
