Love Forward is a joyous and buoyant track with smoky house beats, an undulating bass line, and emotive chords. It was created on an Akai MPC Live. The chord stabs were dropped down to metal audio cassette via a harman kardon TD392 tape deck and then resampled to crystalize every ounce of grit and bite in them. What you hear is straight out of the MPC with no additional effects. The result is a muscular romp that will test your stamina and the strength of your speakers.
New York house DJ, producer, and label boss Rissa Garcia remixes Love Forward with her signature garage bounce. She adds her own deep subsonic bass line to the groove and drops a new syncopated piano that’ll get your hands in the air and your heart pumping.
