Portrait - Kontrabass by August Engkilde
This is the fourth release in the brumtone series
of open improvisations.
The music is meant to work as a soundtrack for your daily work, meditation or relaxing.
It is played solo by my self on my 275 year old kontrabass, without any additional overdubs or looping.
I have always been attracted to Indian raga music, but I don't know how to play it. I therefore invented this, my own Nordic raga style.
All tracks are composed performed, produced, mixed and mastered by August Engkilde.

August Engkilde is a composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, DJ, sound-designer. Owner of the record label Brumtone and founder of globalunits.net. The focus is not on one particularly genre but more on a mix of various genres, such as jazz, electro, dub and house as well as more experimental unnamed genres that comes up as a result of his curiosity and passion to explore new music.
