Oneiria by Autumn Burnett
Oneiria (\O-nEr’-ē-ə\) is folk music gone cockeyed with unconventional instrumentation and fresh harmonic twists. Featuring a storybook string-band of nylon-string guitar, harp, contrabass and fiddle, Burnett draws influence from Joni Mitchell, Radiohead, and Joanna Newsom. With surrealist lyricism, Oneiria tells a narrative of loss, misdirection, and escapism to a place where reality and dreamscapes are inexorably entangled.
