I have been interested in the steampunk aesthetic since college. Recently I was rebuilding a bass guitar and debating if I was going to give it a steampunk look and I got to thinking, “what would electronic music sound like if it was made steampunk?” I began with a couple songs from my first album and I found it to be too much fun. Fast forward and here is Steamtronic, a collection of my favorite songs from all of my previous albums but not as electronica or techno compositions. Instead I bring you a collection of modern orchestral arrangements ranging from soft and expressive to aggressive and dynamic.
