The Gorgon by Basic Rhythm
Following on from the previous single, Midnight / Fire, and the single on Artikal last month, Basic Rhythm returns with The Gorgon and The End. Named after the three sisters of Greek mythology, The Gorgon is a tongue in cheek stepper. Opening with lilting drums and a discordant intro before it drops into sparse, but heavyweight drums and distorted sub bass. The End is a tribute to many nights spent in Holborn at the Renegade Hardware or RAM nights at The End Club, hearing dubplate after dubplate getting caned on their legendary sound system. This one is all about the switch up!
