Celestial Indulgences by Benjamin's Kite

This new release from Canada’s Benjamin’s Kite explores themes of cosmic wonderment, such as “how did we get here?”, “what path should we take in life?”, and the unforgiving march of time.

The album leads off with an interstellar epic, loosely based on the origin stories of the Anunnaki, inscribed in ancient Sumerian cuneiform tablets.
Subsequent tracks speak of isolation, making tough choices and the spiritual forces that influence the direction of our lives.

Evolving the direction of their third album, Ingenious Cacophonies, this release melds the traditional keyboard-driven sound of 70's prog rock with jazz influences, and an overriding melodic structure with modern production sensibilities.

Canadian Progressive Rock band, originating in the 80's. Went through many names, until 1991 "The Kite" was released. Through a long hiatus, the band returns with two works under a new name... with a third work underway.
