Puentes invisibles by MISHKA ADAMS & BETO CALETTI

Este proyecto fue inspirado por la cercanía de un amigo en común y el mutuo amor por la música sudamericana. Luego de un año de compartir nuestras canciones entre Londres y Buenos Aires, finalmente nos encontramos. A pesar del gran mar entre nosotros, la música construyó sus propios puentes invisibles. Este álbum es la celebración de los estilos musicales que amamos, los sonidos que nos formaron y las lenguas que hablamos, pero principalmente del placer de habernos encontrado más allá de las distancias imposibles.

Gracias por acompañarnos en este viaje, esperamos que disfruten escuchando esta música tanto como disfrutamos nosotros al hacerla. Nuestra gratitud a todos los músicos que compartieron su tiempo y su amor tocando con nosotros. El más profundo agradecimiento y amor a Guille, Kira y el pequeño Luca, que hicieron posible que nos conociéramos.

This project was sparked by a close common friend, and a mutual love of South American music. After a year of listening to each other’s albums between London and Buenos Aires, we finally met in person. In spite of the great seas between us, music built its own invisible bridges. This album is a celebration of the styles we love, the sounds that have shaped us as musicians, and the languages we speak, but most of all it celebrates the joy of finding a kindred spirit over what can feel like an impossible distance.

Thank you for joining us on this journey, and we hope that you enjoy listening to this music as much as we enjoy playing it. Our gratitude goes to all the musicians who gave their time and love to play on this album with us. Our deepest thanks and love go to Guille, Kira and little Luca, without whom we may never have met.
