Gypsy by Bonedust

This is the original Bonedust formed in 1990 by founding members Rob Byrd and Edward Cooper. "Gypsy" is the second of the Bonedust studio recordings. This recording was made after the band regrouped following the departure of lyricist/vocalist Edward Cooper, Danny Vega - bass and Jimi Smith - acoustic and electric drums. Bonedust came back with intense power shortly after the arrival of new members bassist Dr. Scott and drummer Mark Mattucci. This second edition of Bonedust incorporated a more improv live jam feel inspired by long recorded rehearsals, good beer, mushrooms, cannabis, lysergic acid diethylamide, Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath and the Beatles. Rob Byrd was forced to become the vocalist after Cooper departed to raise a family because shows were lined up. Never wanting to be a lead singer Byrd, took the challenge to keep Bonedust moving forward. Edward Cooper and Rob Byrd still remain song writing partners to this day. "Gypsy" was Recorded 20 years ago in the winter of 1993. This remastered wave file release of "Gypsy" for bandcamp is the 20 year anniversary edition.
