There is a desire.
To be stuck in the infinite loop of longing. To vanish as another nameless vagrant. To mythologize the mundanity of the past. To reconcile the livestream suicide. To go even further beyond. To see the total eclipse. To know what's unknowable. To just let it all out. To find a friend in the shadows. To illuminate your gratitude.
And yet, transcendence.
A spectacular splash of light coronates the atmosphere above your home. Outstretched wing in the way of yon infinite void. Such boundless beauty marred by overtones of desolation. Who's in whose way? Complicated feelings. Every extant emotion roosting on your powerlines. They flutter and flap with gentle currents of the wind refracting light of frequencies nobody can even perceive. Colors of every hue.
Go there and actually be there. Untethered. Lose that last thread. Maybe some memories are permanent. But those feelings fade in time. The rest dissolves in sleep. And in the morning it'll be perfectly clear for you. Onward, upward.
Take wing.
