On the 31st of August we celebrate our 10th Anniversary.

What better way to celebrate than an electronic compendium of brand new and exclusive music….

It all began back on 31st of August 2015 with "bc001". A compilation of electronic sounds from the world over that was intended to be a statement of what Bricolage was all about and what the label would represent going forward. I genuinely never thought that I'd be sitting here, a decade later typing out a promo blurb for a compilation to mark this milestone but here we are.

It's been a crazy 10 years and also a steep learning curve that's been full of joy, fear and the inevitable ups n downs whilst also being doused in pride, passion, intensity, burn out and stress but most of all, it's always been exciting. The excitement of new music and sharing the sounds of the musicians that we love. That's what continues to fuel the label. The music and the people. It's never been about anything else. Money, media, approval. None of that matters. Community and music. Always.

I'm still trying to properly digest that it's been a decade since we first set foot into the electronic sphere and I feel like I can't really do it justice in words yet so we'll move straight on to "X".

"X" marks the spot and "X" marks the years.

It's a 'who's who' of the label past, present and future. We've got Bricolage stalwarts like Dark Fidelity Hi Fi, Belial Pelegrim, Minimal Drone GRL, Fragile X and No Arrival. Some returning old favourites in the form of The Jaffa Kid, Foundered, Minerva and Arran Trax. A bunch of some of our newer regulars in Wilks, Sulci, The New Human and Beira alongside some completely fresh faces on Bricolage with appearances from Veelargo, Kuma and Oceanographer. There's a whole host of other artists that help characterise exactly what Bricolage endeavours towards musically.

27 tracks in total. Over 2 and a half hours of sound. A journey that captures a multitude of styles from all across the electronic spectrum.

The Bricolage project continues to expand and thrive. That's all thanks to the support and love that our community has provided us with since 2015. Thank you. You are appreciated more than we can express.

"X" is exactly where we're meant to be for now. Here's to the next 10.

We've set the price at £10 for this release. That's 37p a track....

All supporters of this album will have their name entered into a ballot to win a copy of a very special 100th release that we have planned for next summer. Three names will be picked from a live draw and win a copy of bc100.
