CRAZY WORLD
I picked up my pen, to write a letter to a friend of mine
Things are hard for all of us, but I heard she's having such a bad time
I thought maybe I could ease the pain, make it better in some small way
Before I could write a single word
I broke down inside and all I could say, was

When an act of kindness could bring a tear
An act of bravery we could all cheer
When we were too tired to go another day
And it meant something when someone would say
