This is the premiere, self-titled release of artist Lowlife Super*. At least on the "normal" net, hence on the Bruitversum label.
Lowlife Super* attributes the development of a unique style to a "vacuum," a lack of local peers. And the beautiful countryside, which can be dreary, if nothing else exists for mile after mile.
A multi-instrumentalist and LoFi producer, Lowlife Superstar specializes in quirky beats, occasionally accompanied by jazz references or dark drones. During recording sessions, they might use a broken clarinet, chime in on the marimba, or play the bongos. Polyrhythms are a constant feature of their music.
