1965 by The Novak 4

This is the second song I ever wrote, with my friend Skip Eckert. Together with his brother Scotty on Drums and my brother Walt, we were The Novak 4… also known as The Hairolds! We were 9 and 10 years old, and huge Beatle fans.
Skip showed me how to play Van Morrison's "Gloria" on guitar, I wrote a rhythmically similar guitar riff, and somehow this song popped out. That's Skip's lead guitar part.
I always wondered what would have happened if a good producer had gotten hold of us and did a proper production and recording of the song. It may have sounded something like this. :>)
