Provincial Park by Buildings and Food
A love letter to the Canadian wilderness, Provincial Park is comprised of melodic ambient and minimalist IDM tracks and is a meditation on Jack pines, pond life, wildlife encounters, dead lakes returning to life, and other wonders discovered through time spent in the backcountry. The quiet during my travels provides a breeding ground for melodies and compositional ideas and these particular tracks were informed and inspired by wilderness trips through various provincial parks over the past couple of years. Creating these recordings, I was transported back to these places and encounters, and hope it will transport you.
