Levitation Songs was recorded one beautiful azure morning beside the sky-mirrored waters of the Firth of Forth. The album initially began as a series of image-poems that were part of a creative healing process. Seeking its own form and spontaneous energy, it eventually became a journey that manifested through fingerstyle solo electric guitar, across seven interconnected pieces of music.
It’s an incredible gift that in moments of need music often serves to both lift us out of ourselves and reground us in the earth at the same time. As always, I hope this album is a good companion for your own adventures, quests, struggles, illuminations and wanderings. Many thanks for listening, sharing and your support. Paw x.
