A song about a person on the brink of workaholism. She finds herself upholding ideals and pushing her own limits that she very alienated, numb and depressed. To express the twisted nature of her thoughts and emotions, the song uses palindromes (forwards-backwards words) and slightly unusual chord harmonies in the chorus sections.
