Canopy is a Baltimore-based collaboration between Matt Muirhead and McKenzie Ditter, formed in January 2014. The duo plays improvised music on instruments they've built from scratch. Canopy's sound is inspired by EDM, world, punk, classical, and folk music and is always analog. Matt is a longtime builder of non-traditional instruments, primarily kalimba and tamboura.
