Underrated by Ripynt & Carl Roe

Underrated is the combined effort of Seattle's own Ripynt and newcomer producer/engineer/artist Carl Roe. From start to finish, this album is the result of a two man effort to act as a vehicle to reach more listeners as their own respective solo projects come closer to their release. Packing nine full tracks of beats, bars and great audio quality, Underrated gives Ripynt followers a new experience and Carl Roe's portfolio his greatest opus yet. Quality over quantity is the name of the game with this piece, and it is completely free.

It is not uncommon for a rap artist or group to claim "underrated" status. Most of the time a statement such as calling oneself underrated is coupled with braggadocio sentiment and prideful tone that may not always be true. It is one of the most "in-your-face" comments any artist can make; especially in the contact sport of spitting dope rhymes and maintaining an ill flow. Carl Roe's belief in Ripynt's artistry fueled his drive to create music that speaks directly to Ripynt's skill and goes even further by introducing a new sound to join Rip in his Seattle tenure. According to Carl Roe, Ripynt is underrated and the fact that a newcomer who stands next to Rip lyrically can say that is the epitome of Rip's validation.

Underrated is produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Carl Roe who shows up on over half the album's songs as well.

Carl Roe and Ripynt both have brand new projects in the works that are slated for early 2014 releases. Carl Roe's "Ones & Zeroes" release date is TBA and Ripynt's "A Beautiful Funeral" is expected to arrive in April 2014.
