Tanami by Carnal Rain

The Tanami desert is the first location in a series of dronewalls that are based on Australian geographic features that I visited a decade ago as of 2025.

The works are resonations of my personal response to the barren, smothering expanses of ancient geology that sprawls across Australia. Despite all being within the same year, being a young child distorted the consistency of my sense of time. Across the series, tracks vary in length based on how distant my memories of that specific place feel as a result of that, looking both backward and forward in time.
