Country music for the weird. Cat Mullins & ThemBoys is a Chicago quintet, joined together to bring alive the songs of Kentucky singer/songwriter Michael Padraic Scahill. The project came out of original music composed for the film Cowards Do It Slow, one of five New Orleans Film Festival picks for Best Narrative Feature of 2016. The songs offer an often bleak look at compulsion, addiction, and religion.
