After Death marks the first new release in 15 years from sludge icons CAVITY from Miami, FL. This will follow releases on labels such as Bacteria Sour, Man’s Ruin, and Hydra Head. Past members of Cavity have went on to form Black Cobra, Floor, and Torche (among many, many others).

Cavity has been a runaway train of thundering punk, blues doom, and sludge heaviness since 1992. When their original run ended in 2001, fans were left wanting more. The new releases, as Cavity AD, boast a stripped-down sound that is both more experimental and more visceral while managing to cohesively communicate the band’s evolution.
