I was in an online discussion about the musical term 'ostinato' and 'Obstinato' popped into my head.
Ostinato: a continually repeated musical phrase or rhythm.
Obstinate: stubbornly refusing to change one's opinion or chosen course of action
In these parlous times when our government is controlled by the worst people imaginable, it pays to resist, to be stubborn, to be obstinate in the face of the manifest idiocy, cruelty and mendacity being perpetrated on a global scale.
