Haunted from Insomnia by Change Is
Cold spots creep in
Noises in the air
It feels as if I’m being watched
Is this how the lights turn off
I’m not in control anymore
My actions are not my own
Resistant to the things I need to survive
All I hear is the exit being locked
Unexplained whispers in the night
I swear I’m alright
Shadows dance while I rest my head
I’ve ignored these signs for way too long

There’s markings on the wall

It’s starting to communicate
Objects start to fly
The things I know as stable become shaky
Losing touch with the things I loved
Why does this thing want me to die

This place is not my home

Fought for what was natural
