Charles Kynard holds a very special place in jazz history.
Being a Hammond organ virtuoso and electric-bass player, Kynard is unquestionably the finest organist to have played in Kansas City.
Despite the number of albums produced, he actually recorded infrequently choosing to appear nightly in the Los Angeles and New York night club scenes.
