Perfect Location in close collaboration with Cherushii’s family is proud to present NOBODY'S FOOL, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, and MANIC on vinyl for the first time. Packaged with original artwork and spread across three 12" vinyl records, we believe this reissue to be an exciting continuation of the Cherushii legacy.
The hand-drawn artwork, which has become iconic to the Cherushii sound, are original creations by Cherushii’s sister, Sabrina. With this reissue, we offer gloss large prints of the original cover art plus a new front cover: the lovable nudibranch pattern. Chosen by Sabrina after a dream visitation, the nudibranch is a fitting mascot for this project as Chelsea was a great admirer of invertebrates. The nudibranch is an otherworldly creature which harnesses its profound coloration to flourish in the infinity of the ocean. Before its colors pop, however, it must shed its adolescent shell.
Beyond Sabrina's artwork, these 3 EPs feature some of Cherushii’s talented friends and mentors, from her production with Golden Donna, lyrics by her longtime friend Kara Marie, and an appearance by her childhood music teacher Marcia Miget, to remixes by 100% SILK all-stars Bobby Browser and Magic Touch.

Cherushii is Chelsea Faith, an electronic musician, producer, radio host and live performer based in San Francisco. Her passion for dance music history is evident in her work, which takes cues from Detroit techno, Chicago house, and classic rave sounds. She used her gear savvy and innate musicianship to create lush, retro-futurist productions, until her passing in 2016.
